Here's to a spiffy 2009, Mr Williams! Onwards and upwards!

Happy New Year! may the impending implosion of the book industry not affect your sales (or prices for medical textbooks - my library budget is dire enough).....

Hope 2009 is a great year for all of us (and its the Chinese Year of the Ox on 26th January).

Ah, we're up to the Ox! I hadn't realised, and can't remember if that's an auspicious one or not.

Either way, yes: may the book industry continue to thrive to all our benefit!

We had the man-child with us this year & I took the boys to Dralion (Cirque de Soliel). Returned home in time to watch Sydney fireworks (my poor mother's dog...they live in Glebe) and burn sparklers (as burning things is always good). Then I did some writing, D was on his computer doing his thing & A was hellbent on finishing the construction of his collectible General Grievous Lego - he's about 70cm tall...with a base one had to build first. So yeah...good entry into 2009! Look forward to criss-crossing paths over January :)
