other voices, other rooms
Mar. 3rd, 2009 10:48 amI'm delighted to be one of several writers reading at an Adelaide Fringe event next week.

You can expect something completely new and something by another author who inspires me. Come along and join in the fun!
Details:
What other rooms do we explore through the texts we read and write, translate and perform?
For one night only Adelaide University Creative Writing students and friends will be holding an Open House, conducting tours of the rooms other texts have led them into.
PhD candidates and alumni Michelle Aung Thin, Shannon Burns, Rachel Hennick, Alice Sladdin, Anna Solding and Sean Williams will be joined by talented performers Tessa Leon and Jenny Toune for an evening of crosscultural language and breath-taking performance.
Wordfire will take place at the usual location of The Crown and Sceptre Hotel, 308 King William Street, at 7 for 7:30 pm. Visit Wordfire for more information or see attached flier.
A gold coin donation will be taken on the night to cover our readers' and performers' dutch courage allowance!
