I am now officially a home-owner--hurrah!--but not yet ensconced in the new place. I am superimposed between houses like Schrödinger's cat, with less fur.

There may be several blackouts as I transfer the office, my broadband, etc over the coming week or so. My postal address will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

At some point I will have photos.

For now, I am off to dismantle the hi-fi system--with a sinking feeling, as though I'm taking apart an old friend...

Managing the AV rig is one of the most distressing things about moving in my experience so good luck and take care!

Was not impressed when I had to do it twice in six months in 2005/06.

Of course, while unpacking the books is generally less fraught with danger, it can take a lot longer and be harder work. Boxes of books are heavy...
