No, not my latest deadline (that's a very short write, alas).  The Long Write is a new blog created by a bunch of the most excellent Clarion South 2009 survivors.  I think it's going to be fun--and not just because they interviewed me.  Take a look and save the kittens!

And now, back to the writing I go.  (3500 words/day schedules hurt my brain.)

Thanks, Jason. There were some tricky questions in there. I hope I didn't put my foot in mouth.

And yes, overclocking like mad at the moment. Yaagh!

Nary a foot was detected within 12 parsecs of any mouth. :-)

Hope the overclocking is going well.

SF Signal picked up the interview.

Thanks, Aidan. That's a relief! Great that SF Signal picked it up, too, although it makes me nervous too. Slagging off the genre (even gently) is a great way to get oneself slammed in the comments.

Most people are probably too busy slagging off Amazon right now to worry about slamming anyone else. :-)

You're big in Poland now. :-)

Na łamach TheLongWrite.com zamieszczono wywiad z Seanem Williamsem, który ma napisać dwie nadchodzące gwiezdnowojenne adaptacje książkowe gier - The Old Republic i The Force Unleashed 2.

Hurrah! I actually have some books out there (apart from Star Wars) so maybe sales are now booming. :-)

That's cool.
The first time I had a story translated, it was into Polish.
One of my stories in Aurealis appeared on a Polish SF web site years ago.

Have you been there? I was completely fascinated by the whole Eastern Bloc thing when I was younger, to the point of learning Russian for a bit, but haven't been anywhere near the place yet.

I didn't get to Poland on my trip last year, but I spent a few days there on my first trip to Europe in 99.
Krakow is a really nice city. And visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is something you never forget.
