I've spent the last few hours tagging my LJ entries. Silly me; I should've been doing that from the start. Anyway, all that fiddling around reminded me of how much fun it was to write the index for the mysterious (yet slightly notorious) The Butler Codex. In a similar spirit, here are some of my favourite tags so far.

The #1 ranking goes to "reviews". I'll have to work harder at spicing up these pages, for fear of boring myself.

Ha! Not so secret. One of the highlights of 2005 for me was my WOTF trip to Seattle. The workshop was held in the Seattle Public Library, which is designed so you can walk in a giant, uninterrupted "book spiral" along the Dewey Decimal system. More fun than you shake a slide-rule at. :-)

What is it with the attraction of books that those who work with them are never far from them even if on vacation in another state or country? :D

What is it with the attraction of books

We are addicted, obviously. :-) I am so hooked that I long for the day when I can carry my entire library with me, wherever I go, in electronic form. It may not look and feel like the real thing, but at least the words will be there.
