Doctor Who: Short Trips: Destination Prague will be out any day now--hopefully in time for me to buy one in London in a couple of weeks. I've raved about this book before, but that doesn't make it any less wonderful. You must all order one immediately! :-)

Keith R. A. DeCandido (from whom I nicked this icon) has kindly posted a list of places in the US that will supply the book (plus a full table of contents). Michael's Comics in particular is offering some amazing deals on not just this book but the entire Short Trips series. They're so cheap it might even be an economical source for Australians...

To whit, I'm sure that Galaxy Books, Slow Glass Books, Pulp Fiction, Fantastic Planet or any other local specialty store will be able to obtain you a copy.

* I'm also hoping to be able to watch the finale of season three in my hotel room, live as it goes to air! *swoon*

Yay! You're a real writer at least *grin*

PS, got my award in the mail! All pretty! Thank you for doing the honours.

Hurrah! (on both counts)

And my pleasure. I was honoured to do the honours. :-)

Love your icon, btw. That's how I'll feel when I finally get a hand on DP.

And isn't season 3 just marvellous lately?

Oh yes indeedy! I have almost forgotten the stinkers from early in the season. :-)

For me the only real rubbish ones were the Dalek two parter and 42.

The other 4 were great - a good opening story followed by a very witty script followed by a cyberpunk fable (that had me balling my eyes out) and then, after some rubbish, a well written crazy scientist story with an amazing scene at the end with the Doctor and the baddie.

Of course, they all pale in comparison to the last 4 stories.

But for me, this season is streets ahead of the last one and on par (if not a bit better) then Season 1.

Looking forward to reading it.

And welcome to the club. It was fun, wasn't it.

The best fun I've ever had was writing a story for Doc 4. So very cool.

I had far too much fun, and would do it again in a flash!

I think I'd prefer to watch the finale 'in person, in real time'. Instead I'm wedged between two generations (not regenerations mind you.....close call though I tells ya), of Dr Who 'fanatics' (I say this lightly *cough, cough*).

One is all fanboy mad - hmmm can't imagine how you'd relate Sean ;) & the other is all 12 1/2 yr old 'new demographic' with a gazillion questions. The 3 parter is going to be the death of me between the pair of them.

I'll get my revenge eventually.....I'll fanfic Who with a Joss character then they'll pay *evil laugh, interrupted by the flu*.

Congratulations & I'll be good and pass it onto D :)

Bloody hell. Everyone seems to have the flu at the moment! (Not me, though, touchwood. I think I had it a couple of months ago.) I hope you feel better soon. :-(

I see your lolcat and raise it one quantum.

*lol* with your quantum cat. I also have zombie cat, which very eerily is a much younger version of my very own feline assistant (who is 13 1/2yrs old).

I'm just glad I got my m/s finished Before the flu hit. Been surrounded by students for past 7 weeks with the blasted thing & was feeling chuffed I made it through (til this week - the last week of term - bah)!
