Talking Squid has begun a series of rolling interviews remarkable for the fact (among many other others) that each interviewee gets to become interviewer in turn.

Nick Evans, editor of BioTechnologyNews, was the first called forth. After answering the question put to him, he asked me this:

"As you’re one of the most prolific authors about, what do you do to take a mental break from writing, editing, and the business of being a writer (contracts, taxes, public appearances, et al)? Do you take four weeks a year off in a planned fashion, grab a couple of days off here or there as you feel the need, or just keep hard at it until you run out of energy and have to have a break?"

You can read my answer here, or browse through the series of interviews as they accumulate.

Now I get to ask someone else a question. Who will it be? You'll have to wait to find out. :-)

Meanwhile, I'm still serving time over at AsIf. We've covered haiku, Gary Numan, my extreme laziness and poor memory, plus some serious topics like how to break into publishing and trilogies. The grilling continues!

PS. I nicked my userpic from here. It's much more beautiful at its full size.
