(There can't be many vegetarian serial killers out there, now I think about it. Maybe they only eat vegetarians.)

Maybe they are radical vegans that believe they are doing the planet a favour by wiping out the filthy humans that prey on animals. Maybe they only go for the heads of big farming and meat companies. Imagine the heads of the Japanese 'research' groups getting hunted down and given the same treatment as whales.

If this idea ends up in a novel, I want a dedication :P
