Date: 2007-11-22 04:35 am (UTC)And talking of stupid people who panic: my fellow staff member was telling me this morning that a lot of small business people she knows (her husband is self-employed) are laying off people NOW, because IF Labor gets in, will be huge industrial problems and they will lose everything. I said that was a pretty dumb way to run a business: sacking people because you feared a political change which might turn not to be as bad as you feared.

Sounds like a great candidates to be part of the large percentage of small businesses that fail, being that stupid and all.
