"Mr T vs the Cybermen" is the funniest and strangest thing I've seen for days, and much less disturbing than the Dalek/Cyberman slash I came across a couple of weeks ago.

None of this, though, compares to the news that Felicity Kendall will be guest-starring in an episode of Doctor Who involving Agatha Christie. I am swooning as I type. (Did I ever mention that I grew up on Doctor Who, Agatha Christie and The Good Life novels?) That's the best slash I could ever imagine.

Catweazle rocks! I bought the first season a while back and was pleasantly surprised by how engaging it still was. The boys loved it too. Some TV is timeless.

Just ordered the DVD. I can hold out no lomger.

Catweazle, like AA Milne, is the foundation of a lot of my families in jokes. Particulary when Dad stuffed up something then it was a cry of "Nothing works!"

I'm relucant to watch Blake's & again. I don't think I will be able to ignore some of the shonkiness(?) of the show.having said that, I still want to be Servalan, should the position become vacant.

:-)

When scripts are good, it's possible to ignore all sorts of shonkiness. I rewatch old Doctor Who and the best of B7 without much concern.

The flipside is that I can't rewatch Space: 1999. How did I ever like that show? It makes me sad to think that it was so awful
